Dear colleagues, the eighth meeting of Moscow Business Toastmasters (MBT) will take place this Thursday, October 17th at the premises of Trade and Economic Office of the Spanish Embassy.
The world faces unprecedented rates of urban expansion. According to the United Nations, 55% of the global population currently lives in cities. This number is expected to increase up to a 68% by 2050.
The global trend for efficiency in the use of resources promotes the implementation of projects in large cities to make them smarter and thus make more appropriate use of resources. Russia is among the countries that consider this a priority and cities like Moscow are among the cities that invest the most in this type of technology to turn their cities into Smart Cities. An important element of the concept is intelligent innovations based on information technology and data analysis where decisions are made with previously collected data.
